The movie follows the story of the Donkey Kong Champ Billy Mitchell and the challenger Steve Wiebe on their quest to be the champion of the world. Billy Mitchell already holds the title of Gamer of the Century. The movie has received great reviews and my copy showed up today but I have not gotten a chance to watch it yet. I thought our members may want to check this out many may remember seeing Billy Mitchell at the Xbox Live Pac-Man tournament in New York City last year when they also announced the new Pac-Man CE arcade title. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is now being released on Sunday October 28th. It seems Target has a special bundle including two guitar controllers the game a special customization pack and a cool duel carry case all for $109.99. Now this is a great price but I wanted to check with Target directly and this was a little harder getting the final word about this bundle. The final word is that the two controllers are not wireless but will have the new look. For families this is a value. The only thing you may want to check is if there is a bundle for the Xbox 360? The screen shots and the ads all show the PS2 logo and guitars in the ad. I still wanted to post this in case there is a special bundle that will show in stores launch day and this is only a Target deal. I will give the link but let me break it down in a simple way. Bungie is an independent devolper and company they want to protect that due to the fact it’s rare to find any still around in the industry today. So Bungie protected their rights and made a new agreement with Microsoft. Halo and all properties around the game are still with Microsoft you will not see Halo on the PS3 as rumors stated earlier this week. I read the early news and the reason we do not post it until the facts are out is to avoid spreading the fire so to speak. The bottom line is that Bungie and Microsoft have reached a new agreement and Bungie has their freedom to create other games and seek out new franchises without needing permission.
