Tony Hawk: Ride Skates Into Stores Today

For fans of the Tony Hawk games Activision’s Tony Hawk: Ride will take gamers beyond the standard controller. The game comes with its own Skateboard controller offering a new experience for skateboard fans. Tony Hawk: Ride allows gamers to make the moves on the specially designed deck and the game will respond to those movements. The game is now in stores and comes with the special deck controller and game for $119.99.

Left 4 Dead 2 Hits Stores Today

Last year Valve released Left 4 Dead and the game became a great Co-Op game and a personal favorite. Today the sequel Left 4 Dead 2 hits stores exclusively for the Xbox 360 and PC. The game has new modes including Scavenger new avatar awards and all new weather effects. Left 4 Dead 2 also offers gamers new game modes including the Scavenger mode. With a new cast of characters, melee weapons and Avatar rewards the game is loaded with new things.

Assassin’s Creed II in Stores Today

Ubisoft’s sequel Assassin’s Creed II is now in stores everywhere. The sequel to last year’s hit is generating a lot of buzz for its new gameplay and graphics. Those who pick up the game will also notice new avatar rewards you can unlock. It’s another big week for releases as we approach the Holidays.

Xbox Live Dashboard Update Arriving November 17th

Tired of hearing those who got into the beta for the new dashboard telling you about the all the cool stuff? Well on November 17th the Dashboard update will be released to all. The new update will include Twitter, Facebook, Last. FM and Zune. The date was announced by Major Nelson just a few minutes ago.

This week we have Dragon Age: Origins from BioWare and EA Also there is Lego Rock Band from TT Games and Harmonix. On the XBL Marketplace you have the new Brutal Legend DC pack Tears of the Hextadon. Rock Band DLC packs from Foo Fighters 03 and The Nirvana Bleach DLC pack. It’s going to be another expensive week enjoy.

To celebrate the release of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City which includes both The Lost and the Damned and The Balled of Gay Tony on one special disc today. The disc version does not require the original GTAIV disc and retails for $39.99. Of course you can buy the new episode from the XBL marketplace but you will need to use the GTAIV disc to launch it. DJ Hero Scratches its way Into Stores Today

The new DJ scratching game DJ Hero is in stores today. Activision is letting gamers experience the life of a real DJ and scratch master. The game includes the turntable controller and yes it is wireless. There is also a Renegade version this comes in a hard-shell case that turns into a stand and also has gold finish on the controller. The special Renegade Edition also comes with 2 song CD from Jay-Z and EMINEM.

Tekken 6 Hits Stores Today

Namco Bandai’s Tekken 6 is in stores today and this is the first time Xbox 360 owners get a chance to play a Tekken game. The game is available in 2 versions the game only or the game and a special Limited Edition wireless fight stick & Art Book. Tekken fans have been waiting for the next game and it’s now out. If your interested in the special bundle with the Wireless fight stick and art book check your local store to see if they are available this was a pre-order bundle.

Forza 3 Races Into Stores Today

For racing fans Turn 10’s Forza 3 is now in stores everywhere with over 400 cars the new Forza is huge. The game includes a code to redeem 10 classic cars from past Forza games (in game credits needed to add then to your garage) also a pack that includes the test tracks including Sidewinder. The new Forza contains more tools for those who enjoy custom painting their cars and new features. It’s going to be another expensive week as several new games are in stores this week.

RockBand Hits iPhone App Store

If you want to get your RockBand fix and are on the road RockBand is now out on the app Store on iTunes. Works with the ITouch and the iPhone you must have the 3.0 or higher OS installed. Also they released 2 free song packs just go to the music store while in the game and pick them enter your password and they will download. The game also features a 4-player mode using Bluetooth and has the world tour and a single player World tour. You can even post your scores on Facebook new music packs are priced at 99 cents for two songs. The game is $9.99 right now I have been impressed with it so far and is a good portable version of the full game.
