If you are into horror/survival games EA thinks that Dead Space will be the game for you. We wanted to get more information so we invited Ben Swanson Community Manager and Andrew Green Online Marketing Manager for EA Games. To fill us in on Dead Space and the new release date. Also in the show we have Jason, Joe, Chris and Rich that’s me so sit back and hope you enjoy the show. We talk about what gamers can expect the fact that Dead Space is the boldest game with an M rating ever to be released by EA. What players can expect in the way of gameplay and weapons without ruining the surprises. You may be surprised at the steps the team went through to get the game green lit and then ready for release. As you may have read the game already has received some press as being banned in Germany, Japan and China. While the guys couldn’t go into details about that the information they gave us was helpful and I think you’ll agree. Dead Space hits stores on October 14th and it sounds like a perfect game for those who love horror and Sci-fi games. XBS Podcast – Interview With Bryn Bennett of Bang Camaro

Okay folks, we know you all have wondered where the hell has the podcasts gone. Some may have wondered if we would ever record another one and in fact some even thought the XBS Podcasts have become an annual event. All joking aside we are back and what better way to make our return than with one of our friends from Bang Camaro Lead Guitarist Bryn Bennett. We got the crew together and even got Jason’s brother Joe to join us along with Jason, Jim, Chris and myself to catch up and rant a bit. We cover topics from the rumored price drops of the Xbox 360, XBL arcade games and the price structure and even the fact that stores are already putting up Christmas lights WTF-Over? We also talk about Mercenaries 2 plans of more podcasts and Comcast evil plans to cap customers. We then shift gears and go full tilt into Rock Band 2 and Bryn tells us his thoughts on the upcoming release and what the band has been up to. Sit back and enjoy we are back and expect us to be in full gear soon. We also remind Jason he only has a few weeks of freedom left until the big day when he say’s “I do” to Chris. Yes the XBS wedding should be a blast but I know Chris would kill me if I tried to record a live podcast from the wedding. That's right folks; the XBS crew interviews some of the guys appearing both in Guitar Hero II and Rock Band, some of the bad boys from Bang Camaro. Being a band with around 20 members it was a bit difficult, but Jason, Rich and myself got together with Bryn Bennet and Alex Necochea, co founders of the band and lead guitarists along with Rich Hoss lead singer and manager. We also had Rodrigo, singer and MySpace manager for the band, and Mike who we had a hard time keeping a decent Skype connection for the interview, but we kept trying. Jim, Jason and I had the chance to interview Jesper Kyd one of the hottest composers around the video game industry today. The timing could not be more perfect with both Assassin's Creed and Kane & Lynch: Dead Men hitting stores this week. Jesper worked on both games and his talents show since the two games feature totally different music styles. Jesper shares about growing up in Denmark and his love for music. It’s interesting to hear how his Amiga played a huge role in his music background as well. Jesper also scores feature films and talks about how he approaches each project differently. He also shared with us how the Hitman series boosted his career and helped pave the road he is now on. As you listen to the podcast you will hear his love for music and his love for the video game industry. Join us as we discuss the launch of Halo 3 and the midnight events and new Halo 3 products. Then we slowly shift gears and talk about the TGS and run the gambit of topics. Halo 3 the wait is almost over but not soon enough for Jim.

Jason asks WTF is up with the lack of news and announcements from this year TGS? After all there had to be more than Lost Odyssey to talk about right? Jason also brings up Blue Dragon a big title from last yearâ€™s show and wants to play it.

Jason puts Rich on the spot and asks so what is the best Hockey game to get this year.

Dallas Cowboys are 2-0 Giants are 0-2 as well as the Eagles and Alpha could care less.

XBL Arcade Geon is cool so sayâ€™s Jason and Alpha asks where the hell is BSG.

Everyone loves to play with their Wii and so do we. Being able to use the Wii remote as a light Sabre? Sounds cool as hell bring it on. As we talk about The Force Unleashed.

Xbox 360 force feedback wheel troubles and possible recall on the way somehow we then debate which type of wheel is better. The kind you mount to a desk or the ones that fit on your lap?

The gang breaks our promise and goes back to Halo 3 and talks about the changes at Bungie.net

Rumored new HD-Player in 08 shot down in flames firmware is better so sayeth MS.

PS3 topics touched on but nothing deep although we do warn of possible problems with the midnight release as the group SDF vows to ruin the ending. We all wonder what a PS3 starter Bundle is and rumble controllers so old generation that Sony is bringing them into the next-Gen.

Collin McRae's Dirt TV ads pulled R.I.P. Sadly Collin and his son died last weekend he will be missed.

The Biggest games this Holiday Season and why we all will be broke after itâ€™s over.

Manhunt updates its website and has the new mature rating logo.

A few other things including COD4 Beta and the new level cap as we all wait for Halo 3 we still want COD 4 as well. Listen youâ€™ll understand we think.
