Do you play video games? Do you use Twitter? If you said yes to both of those statements then you’ll like this, you can now follow me on Twitter. Yep, a couple of days ago I opened a shiny new Twitter account – AboutGameCheats . What does this mean for you and me? Well, to be brutally honest I’m not 100% sure on all the details just yet… I’ve just begun to see how cool Twitter is. I can already see what a great communication and collaboration tool Twitter has become, and see a lot of opportunities for gamers to connect to each other and share codes, hints and tips. This will be an evolving process until I really get the specific formats nailed down. I am currently exploring content delivery options via the service, but for now if you’d like to join in on the conversation then please do so. The only thing I’m certain of is that this is going to be geared more towards a conversation, a way to have contests and mini-games, etc. Not just some RSS feed poured into an account. Do you use Googlle to search for cheat codes ? If you do then you’ll notice a type of code in the Googlle logo. In fact, I’m sure by now you’re wondering why I’ve spelled Google with two Ls three times. The code itself is the double L, as seen in the official Google logo image for the day. Honestly, I think we all could have done without a Beatles specific Rock Band… but who am I to say. There are millions of Beatles fans… OK, so they did have a few catchy tunes. Lucky Beatles fans all over can now play to some of their favorite Beatles tracks in The Beatles: Rock Band , which is now available for the PS3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii. ( Sorry PS2 owners, no love this time around. ) This early in the game there aren’t many codes – in fact there is just one that has been discovered so far. If you haven’t been following video game news recently then you may have missed a couple of key announcements from two big players in the industry. First off, Sony announced a redesigned PlayStation 3 console aptly named the PS3 Slim. As you might have guessed from the name the size of the console has been tweaked down a bit, and so has the price… beginning September 1st you’ll be able to pick one up for $300. Apparently September 1st isn’t an official release date, as PlayStation Guide Roger Altizer points out here , you might be able to pick one up now. Microsoft, in swift fashion has now lowered prices on the Xbox 360 consoles. Beginning August 28th you’ll be able to pickup an Xbox 360 Elite for $300 as well. Other versions of the Xbox 360 have been lowered also. Turns out the struggling economy may be just what the doctor ordered to make video game consoles more affordable. And without a doubt, this will make holiday dreams for many a bit more accessible. Where is Nintendo in all of this you ask? Sitting pretty at number one watching Sony and Microsoft battle to the death.

If you’ve been waiting around to get your hands on some cheat codes for Madden NFL 10, sadly, it looks like the wait may be even longer. From what I’ve gathered, only the Nintendo Wii has codes, and since I don’t have that version of the game and I can’t vouch for their validity. Update: Left 4 Dead PC Cheats updated to include all available cheat codes. I finally got the chance to get a little hands on time with Left 4 Dead , Valve’s latest shooter. I had been told by many people that it was worth checking out, and I can now confirm this. Although, if your only gonna go through it once you’re not gonna get your money’s worth. Based on the motion picture of the same name, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra hopes to entertain fans of the old G.I. Joe comic series as well as gather a new generation of G.I. Joe geeks. And I mean that in the nicest way. You see, when I was just a youngster I had a huge collection of G.I. Joe figurines. Should have kept them, I could probably get a good amount of coin for them on eBay. At any rate, G.I. A couple of gamers have sent in emails regarding the PS3 cheats for Rock Band 2 . Specifically, they were having a problem entering any code where the Circle button was used. In order to avoid this problem, instead of using the controller codes for the game, use the guitar codes. These codes rely on the colors of the fret buttons rather than the controller buttons, and work just the same. I’ve updated the cheat pages to include both sets of codes now (controller and guitar). There are two types of cheat codes in The Conduit video game on the Nintendo Wii.
