How Do I Share Media Between My Xbox 360 And My Pc?

Here is my setup:
Xbox 360 is connected to my PC VIA a Ethernet cable. The router detects the Xbox 360, and so does Windows Media Player. When I go to “Test PC Connection” my PC never shows up. I have allowed the Xbox 360 access to Windows Media Player. I am running Windows XP: Home Edition 2002 on SP3.

the problem is SP3, im having the exact same problem and i know some other people that cant get the pc recognized cause of sp3. my other computer with sp2 works fine however.

edit: just tried it and it worked perfectly, oh and make sure you type in the thing right
