How Can I Connect My Xbox 360 To My Home Wireless Network Without The Network Adapter?
I want to avoid using the £50 adapter and see if I connect the Xbox 360 to Xbox Live by using a computer or by other means. Please leave detailed answer and very specific details how to complete this action IF POSSIBLE.

Here’s the step-by-step:http://www.instructables.com/id/Use-your…
You don’t have to use the official Xbox adapter. There are cheaper ones that use USB.
this is possible, all you need is an ethernet cable going from your computer too your xbox 360 then you need to bridge the connections you do this by going to the network management the only problem with a bridged connection may be the lag online thats why its better to have the router nearer to your xbox.
or you could just get your self a long either net cabble and plug it in the back of your xbox to you pc router much cheeper, but your xbox and pc must be close together
yes its possible. only with a computer with both wireless and LAN
you will need a computer there are two ways.
The first way disables clear communication to and from your xbox and PC but a clear connection to the internet
The second way avoids the unclear communication of your xbox and pc but may cause a bit of network issues
Your choice!
FIRST WAY :
(only for vista)
GO TO: control panel > network and sharing center > view status
> properties (AT THE BOTTOM) > [continue] > (the sharing tab at the top)
> (check box labeled: [Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection]) > [OK] >
close all windows and plug your Xbox into your computer and
Vuala your now connected to Xbox Live
just make sure your computer is connected to the internet to complete the process.
SECOND WAY:
(only for Vista)
(((!!! CUT ALL CONNECTIONS TO THE INTERNET FIRST only as a precaution !!!)))
GO TO: control panel > network and sharing center > manage network connections (on the left side)
> highlight BOTH [Local Area Connection] and [Wireless Network Connection]
> right click > select [Bridge Connections] > continue >
then close all windows, connect to the internet, plug in your xbox and BOOM you just made your LAN and Wireless on big route through your computer.
Both ways may cause NAT issues. just Google to find a fix.
NAT stands for Network Address Translation, its what computers use as a better way to communicate securely.
