Can An Xbox 360 Be Connected Directly To A Tv To Record As A Hard Disc?

I have a xbox 360 that i would like to use as a hard drive to record programs direct from my tv. I use a MacBook so do not want to use a microsoft/windows system. I do not really want to pay anything to sign up to Xbox live. Can anyone help?

No you cant do it. There is no input on the Xbox to allow this. Just get a cheap HDD or DVD recorder.
