How To Setup The Xbox 360 To Connect To My Computer?

I have downloaded Windows Media Player 11, and I have gone to media sharing and click accept on the little Xbox 360 icon.
I have 3 PC’s in the house, I don’t know if that does or doesn’t affect anything.

is it a wireless connection? or are you plugged in to a router?
you also need to have Windows Media Center loaded on the computer you’re connecting to if you want to send/share files.(unless you just want to stream music from your computer) if you just want the Xbox Live, then you don’t need WMC.
Buy an acess point for game consoles, Linksys has some. way cheaper
