I have received several questions about the NBA Live 365 feature for NBA Live 09. First of all the code to download it for free comes in the box on a special flyer. If you open the box and the flyer is gone you need to contact the store you bought it at. Second thing I want to stress is once the code is used that is it you can’t create a new Gamertag and use the same code it’s once and done. If you input the code and get an error or it does not download you need to contact Xbox live support first. If they cannot find proof or help in the download you will have to contact EA support. I am taking time to write this since my inbox is getting full of questions regarding this. If the code is gone when bought the store is responsible if any game is not sealed with the Xbox label around the opening and wrapped. Play it safe and ask for a sealed copy. While it is possible to not get a code with an opened copy I can’t find a reason why a sealed copy would not have it inside.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate is in Stores today. The game is based on the Blockbuster movie Wanted. It continues to follow Wesley Gibson’s story of being the ultimate assassin. It features the ability to curve the bullet and from the demo follows the original movie pretty closely. Do you have what it takes to continue Wesley’s training and mission? I know movie based games get a bad rep at times so why not check out the demo on XBL Marketplace first? Wanted: Weapons of Fate is rated M for graphic violence and language.

WrestleMania is without a doubt responsible for making “Professional Wrestling” mainstream entertainment. At one time if you wanted to watch Wrestling on TV they would add a huge red X across the screen to block out the blood or violent acts. Things all changed when Vince came up with the idea of hosting a huge event and inviting Hollywood Stars to show up and take part. This year marks the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania and the WWE is the longest and highest running show on Cable TV. No other weekly show has come close to the numbers that RAW turns out each week. WrestleMania also launched the status of wrestlers into superstars. THQ’s new game Legends of WrestleMania allows you to take part in flashback scenes of the greatest fights in WrestleMania’s history. The game is now in stores and the demo is still up on the XBL Marketplace.

The game Wheelman starring Vin Diesel has hit game stores today Wheelman a cross promotion with Midway games and published by Ubisoft. The demo is up on the Marketplace so check it out. Vin stars in the game about a wheelman who seems to be able to get anywhere and out of any situation. So far I have been impressed with the game but it’s too early to say more. Please remember not all stores will get the game today as many chains may use this date as the shipping date so please check with your store before going to pick it up.

Fans of Fallout 3 will have a reason to start playing the game again as “The Pitt” hit the XBL Marketplace today. The new DLC will cost 800 MS points and offer fans of the game more hours of gameplay and surprises. Please not that there seems to be an issue with the marketplace if you use quick links the ads showing the new content and get an error. I suggest you go to the gaming marketplace hit browse all and select the title there. Then pick show all downloads and you should have no issues. I am not sure why this is happening and MS has not issued any statement that there are problems with XBL. I do know I had several Emails asking why certain content could not be downloaded and when I suggested this it seems to have worked for everyone including myself.

The much anticipated DLC Album Ten by Pearl Jam hit the XBL Marketplace today. The DLC pack will set you back 1440 MS points but it’s been remastered and features 11 tracks the song “Alive” is already on the RockBand 2 game disc. Also please keep in mind that the song “Master/Slave is an instrumental and cannot be selected when having a singer in your band. It’s steep but for fans of Pearl Jam I am sure this DLC will sell well. I am glad to see popular CD’s and Albums getting remastered for use with RockBand and shows the game is also helping the music industry as well as the gaming industry. Please also note that this DLC works with RockBand 1 or 2 those with only rockband 1 will be missing the song Alive though.

When EA announced the closing of their Chicago Studio, it raised many questions about the popular Fight Night Franchise. Would there be a Fight Night 4 and if so, what changes would be made? The list of questions could go on but fans wanted answers. Of course by now I have learned the more you ask, the more there is left unanswered. Let’s face it, there were rumors, but when they dried up it seemed forever until some glimmer of hope arrived. Then in typical EA fashion during last year’s Spike VGA awards, Peter Moore took to the podium with that youthful smile and he not only announced that Fight night 4 is coming out but he also showed the first trailer. The new game has a slightly new angle. What if you could fight against the greatest fighters of all time and who would win? Of course the big tease was announcing that “Iron” Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali would be the first two boxers officially to be in the game. Read the rest of this entry
