The next game in the Halo Universe by Microsoft Game Studios and Ensemble Studios is reported to be finished and sent to manufacturing. Halo Wars was developed from the ground up for the Xbox 360 console and controller and is an action-strategy game based 20 years before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved.

Halo Wars is set to be released on March 3rd and a demo will hit the Xbox Live Marketplace on February 5th at 2 AM PST. The demo will offer beginner and advanced tutorials as well as the first 2 campaign missions of the game. Chasms, one of the 14 multiplayer maps, will also be included and will allow you to play skirmish mode versus the game’s A.I. as the U.N.S.C. or the Covenant.
