Last night during Spike TV’s VGA Awards Harmonix announced that they reached an agreement to bring Pearl Jam’s Ten Album to Rock Band. The DLC pack will be released the same day as the reissue of the CD. The date listed is March 24th 2009. For fans of Pearl Jam this is great news and the Album is probably the most popular from the group. Rock Band 2 gamers already have the song Alive on the game disc. So the DLC Album will include the other tem missing songs. Once, Even Flow, Why Go, Black, Jeremy, Oceans, Porch, Garden, Deep and Release no price was announced yet but this is huge news and let’s hope other bands follow the lead and release their classic material for DLC. Rock Band 2 took home the “Best Music Game Award” and “Best Sound Track Award” during the VGA’s.
