Last night there was one surprised for viewers that watched the VGA Awards. They found out and got the early jump on the new Gears of War 2 Combustible Map Pack DLC. It hit at 12:00 PM PST. The new map pack will cost 800 Microsoft Points and will have three new maps all with something different to offer for fans of the game. The news was presented by Augustus “Cole Train” Cole (played by Lester Speight) and each map looked very cool. The three new maps are Flood, Gold Rush and Fuel Station while the price may seem steep for only three maps each one has something unique and should add a challenge to multiplayer matches including Horde matches. Gears of War 2 walked away with “Best Shooter Award” and “Best Xbox 360 Game” during the show.
