Jack Black is no stranger to the “GWF” events on Xbox live Jack has played against XBL members before. Tonight he joins with his fellow band mate Kyle Gass as Tenacious D play Rock Band 2 at 6:00 PM EST. While the band has a song on Rock Band 2 they are also trying to promote their new DVD “The Complete Masterworks 2”. The DVD was recently released and follows up their last Masterworks Collection. The guys are going to send invites and jam with the XBL community. All you need to do is send a friends request to JBTenacious and KGTenacious and then be on 30 minutes prior to the event. Jack and Kyle will send invites from the list of requests and will try and play with as many people as possible. I know Tenacious D is not everyone’s cup of tea but I like them and think it’s cool that Xbox live members have a chance to play with celebrities. I know this is posted on short notice but I wanted to post it for anyone who might want to join in the event tonight. Each month Xbox Live hosts “GWF” events and you can click on the community link then on calendar next time you visit Xbox.com. Please remember at times due to schedules and touring an event can be changed or moved to another date.
