There are a few games every year that are either going to be great or a bad idea. Today Midway Games sent word that their new Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe has gone gold. Being a comic book fan and a fan of the characters of Mortal Kombat this one looks interesting and from the videos I have seen may just pull it off well. Mixing two well known brands is a dangerous move but with the fan base of both brands this may work in Midways favor. You have to remember that Ed Boon has been very hands on with this one and early word at Comic-Con was good. The game ships for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 November 16th in North America and November 21st in Europe.
