NBA Live 09: NBA Live 365 Update Details

EA Sports sent word over and wanted to explain why there is not been any updates to the NBA Live 365 feature. Every gamer that enters the code will start receiving updates for free the problem is that when the NBA season kicked off only six teams played. Once every team has played once the updated info will show up in the NBA Live 365 feature on October 31st. EA wanted to pass this on and are sorry for any confusion. Updates will follow you must enter the code in the manual or buy the NBA Live 365 feature from the marketplace to have access to the feature.

so we cant play online for another 3 days? i know of a bunch of other people that are having this problem. since 365 doesnt have an update there is an error when i try to play xbox live. “rosters need to be updated”? what up with this?

The code is in the game book and can only be used once. If you bought the game used or already used the code on another Xbox 360 you must buy it on the marketplace.
I just bought NBA Live 09 and I enterred my NBA Live 365 code in, and it said that the code was already in use. I bought this game new (never been used) and it says that it’s already been in use, what do i do?

I am not going to say that it’s impossible but the only way I know that this could have happen is either someone at the game store open the game plced in that code and resealed the game. Or it’s an error I would call EA support and explain the issue with them. It’s going to be up to them if they can send you a new code or if you will have to pay the $9.99 I wish I could help further but all I can do is pass on issues with the community manager and producer of NBA Live and see what they say.
If you call EA support and get no where register on the forums if not already a member send me a PM and I will try and get a code for you. I will check with EA support if you called in so please do this first. Sorry to hear you had issues with the code.
I just bought this game new/sealed and I can’t find the code anywhere in the manual. I did read that some have a card inside with the manual that has the code although mine did not have any card either. Can someone please advise me of where to look?

My code was in an insert telling you about the new feature. I would try asking the store that you bought it at if that does not work you will need to call EA tech support. Or buy the feature from the marketplace. We have no way to get someone a code and each code can only be used once. I have heard that others are missing the insert as well so either the store cutted and rewrapped the game which is my guess or it just came that way which is a bit doubtful. I hope this helps?
Rich, I did call support and your right, They really do protect the codes. They informed me to take it back to the store, so I did. The game was factory sealed with the Auth. certificate still attached. At the store they opened up three other sealed games to find that they were all missing the code card. Finally the fourth game they opened did have what I needed so they exchanged the game. I thank you for your response. I am just glad we got it resolved. Hopefully this will guide someone else with the same problem on what to do.
how many letters is the code, and where do u find it, i just bought it new and there was no separate card or anything, so where is it? thanks.

I already responded several times what to do if you did not get a code it’s has 20 characters and is like any other code you use on the marketplace. If you did not get an insert you will either have to contact the store or EA tech support.

@Mike it’s on an insert sheet you can’t miss it since it’s the only thing with a code.
If you bought it new and did not get a code insert then you’ll need to talk with the manager of the staore or contact EA support.
i just bought the nba live 365 from the xbox live marketplace and when i start up the game it still tells me to enter in the code. does anyone know what the problem is or how i can fix this issue?

Go to the NBA 09 page over at EA.com and it will explain how it works and how to get that message to stop.
i couldn’t find the page that leads you to stopping that message. do u have the link that i can just go to all that?

If there is nothing there anymore than the issue was fixed. If you are still having the problem I would suggest calling tech support at EA they can help you easier than I can. Sorry and if you find out what the fix is let me know thanks. I know earlier on there was an issue with it but this was fixed so if you are having the problem then EA needs to know.

It say’s right on the page that has the code that it can only be used once. Using a new profile would be breaking the agreement so yes you will have to buy it from the marketplace under the name profile you made. You mean you changed the gamertag? This is something you would need to call or Email EA tech support
i bought the package at market place but its not showing up
@ IKE If you bought something and it’s not showing up you need to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX you can check your download history if it’s there and redownload it for free if not call and tell them.
i had a 365 account the i used on my old account and theen my old account got hacked and i have a new account but not a new code what do i do?
@Conner if you used the code it was only good for that account. You won’t be happt but you will have to buy another one on the marketplace sorry.

Sorry if this is a repeat question but Is the code that everyone is talking about the one that has to be entered to have the roster updated in the off line dynasty mode?If so is it the option i purchase the theme option for my team. thanks
