Today 2K sent word that their NHL 2K9 is hitting store shelves today the yearly Hockey war has started for 2009. Yesterday NHL 09 was first to hit shelves and both games are promising a lot. I have to admit last year NHL 09 for me was the hands down winner with several huge improvements and easy to use controls. I know that 2K is promising easier controls geared for any level of skill. They are also beefing up their online mode and have some neat modes this year. While it’s too early to tell which game will be the best it’s certainly going to be interesting to see what 2K brings to the table with NHL 2K9.
