EA Sports sent word the Calgary Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf has been selected to grace the cover of EA’s NHL 09. A great pick Dion has only three seasons in the NHL but they have been impressive ones. He also was nominated for the 2007-2008 “Norris Trophy” and a two time all-star. Last year NHL 08 impressed me and out shined the competition in almost every area. So this year I am really looking forward to get my hands on the game.
