Grand Theft Auto IV: Xbox 360 Sales & XBL Statistics
Yesterday I posted the sales figures for Grand Theft Auto IV for the first week. Today I received the stats and figures on the Xbox 360 version and it’s interesting. The Xbox 360 version outsold the PS3 version by 60%. Xbox 360 console sales jumped 54% during GTA IV’s launch week retailers reported that 40 percent of those buying the game also bought a new Xbox 360 console. During the first week over 2.3 million gamers played the game on Xbox live and most logged in more than 4 hours per day. GTA IV is now the number one game played on the Xbox 360 and an impressive 12 million achievements equaling over 100 million points have been unlocked by gamers.

Wow you just love lying. Well is an Xbox 360 website i wouldn’t expect any less from a dying console with just FPS and no vision or reliability. And of course is the number 1 game on Xbox Live since Microsoft doesn’t bother making their own game well just Halo rehash. Get your facts straight and stop writing all this fanboy BULLSH!T. @Ivan I stand by the figures 100 percent and I have the proof not that I need them. I take offense to the fact you would say I am lying why and for what reason? I don’t get any of the profits. I posted this because the stats are information. I suggest you take a deep breath and get a real life! I have not had the game freeze on me once and have not been booted maybe you have hardware issues?

And a lot of Xbox 360 Elite owners like myself have suffers from GTA IV problems or haven’t you play this game online yet. I know the Xbox 360 sold only not what you claim and the reason Xbox 360 version sold better was because Rockstar North made this game with a lot of glitches that reviewers doen’t care since they just slap a perfect 10 to a glitchy game over hyped. And i have GTA IV both consoles i play Xbox 360 more since i got GTA IV there first free.

I have not had any issues with my copy of the game either. And while some Xbox 360 users have experienced issues with GTA 4, it is all over the place that there’s an unknown issue with some PS3 consoles and the game, rendering unplayable.
If you hate Xbox 360 so much that you generalize Xbox 360 sites as places where lies are posted, then why even own the console? Or play the game on it? You said you have both versions of the game, if you dislike the Xbox 360 so much, just go play on the PS3.

Wow! this guy Ivan_PSP, has some serious issues. I go to many gaming sites and he fits the bill for a PS3 fanboy, they all say “liar” when it’s has to do with anything Xbox. Since when is the Xbox 360 the home of the FPS? The other term is cool since exclusives are limited for both. Look I posted the stats which are true because it’s news. Then this fanboy comes over and starts crying foul. XBL you need to know your genre’s before posting and complaining. There are a ton of FPS on both the systems. Not as many on the PS3 since games are limited and that’s not a knock.
In the end what does it matter? MS just stated 19 million consoles are out there.
Yet PS3 owners are loyal. Sad truth is the Wii is kicking both our asses in sales if you want to be truthful and not just the total units sold.
