Puzzle fans will want to check out TiQal when it hits the XBL Arcade tomorrow. The new puzzle title offers 14 power-ups and 120 levels it also features a Co-Op mode. TiQal sounds interesting remember you can download the trail version for free the full game will cost 800 Microsoft points.

Rumors about those who were using cheat devices and services to rack up a huge Gamerscore started to hit weeks ago. Everything from banning to removing the score and having a gamertag reset to zero with a message saying they were caught cheating were mentioned. Today its official Microsoft has already reset a huge list of gamers caught cheating and reset their Gamerscore to zero. While they are not banned and can earn achievements they cannot go back and earn those already wiped out. The cheating alert is also posted on their gamer card for all to see. Microsoft states they will not remove the message and if anyone’s score is reset it’s a done deal. I understand why but I wonder what the rest of you think? You can go to Xbox.com and see what a cheaters gamer card looks like. I just fear this could back fire and lead to more rules not reversible. I know many thing a huge gamerscore means something but does it really? Personally I could care less I just enjoy playing online with my freinds. It’s Tuesday and that means new Rock Band DLC has hit the marketplace. This week is the first six song pack and is all Boston Tracks. The cost is 800 Microsoft points if you buy the Boston pack. The tracks include Hitch a Ride, Piece of Mind, Rock & Roll Band, Smokin, Something about You and my personal favorite More than a Feeling. It’s a great track pack if you’re wondering the tracks are for sale separate but each one is 160 Microsoft points. Let’s hope more classic rock tracks hit in soon.

Today I found out the long awaited map pack for COD: 4 Modern Warfare will hit the XBL marketplace on April 3rd. The price for the map pack will be 800 Microsoft points. The price is what I expected no word on how many maps will be in the pack yet. We will have all the info before the launch date though.

Microsoft sent word that the Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack will be released for download on April 15th. The DLC Map pack will have three maps and will cost 800 points. Two of the maps have been revealed Ghost Town is a mid size map perfect for team slayer and Avalanche is a tribute to the Sidewinder map from the first game. I am sure Bungie and Microsoft will release the details of the third map before the release of the pack.

Today EA confirmed a new deal with Massive Inc. Owned by Microsoft which expands on their current agreement. Massive Inc. supplies In-Game advertising content for EA games for the Xbox 360 and PC games. Basically what this really means is expect to see more advertising geared at gamers 18-34 in your favorite EA games. We have discussed this before and while I personally have no issues with advertising such as billboards I just hope they continue to present the ads in a way that will not become intrusive to the gamer. Banners and Billboards are fine but I never want to see huge Pop-Ups on the screen or full commercials. I doubt they will ever decide to present the advertising in this form. I guess we will see when Madden 09 hits since it will be the first game to be done under the new agreement. When done right the advertising in games can actually help add a realistic feel let’s just hope they keep this in mind down the road.

Gamers waiting for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 can pick up a copy tomorrow when the game hits stores in North America. It seems the game had a ship date of the 18th and confused some of the date it would hit stores. Vegas 2 is promising a lot and I hope it delivers from the trailers and early word it looks good. I guess we will find out when the game hits stores tomorrow when it hits for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Microsoft announced Doom and Assault Heroes will now both be 400 Microsoft points starting tomorrow. Both titles are being added to the arcade hits list. Perhaps the reduced price for Assault Heroes is due to the announcement of the sequel being released soon? In any case both titles will be half off starting Wednesday morning and will stay in the hits category.

Konami sent word that Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is now in North America Stores for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. This year the franchise is using the name Pro Evolution Soccer for the first time. Long time fans will know that the long time series was named Winning Eleven. Fans can also look forward to an all new AI system TEAMVISION that will have long time fans amazed at the controls and new moves. The game will also be available for the PSP, Playstation 2, PC and the Nintendo DS.
