EA Sports Sheds Light on FaceBreaker a new Arcade Boxing Title
It’s hard at times sitting on a story I knew about this new title for awhile but couldn’t comment on it. Now EA is ready to show some information on FaceBreaker an arcade boxing game and new franchise from EA Sports. There is not a whole lot of information on the game yet but the games website just recently went live. You can read a special greeting and get an idea about the game by clicking here. I do know that EA is planning on making this one of their new franchises. From the early screen shots I have seen it look to have the feel of Ready to Rumble with an all new attitude. When you visit the site if you have ideas please feel free to send them to Matt EA is asking for input on this one. FaceBreaker is slated for release on the Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii console.

ok i think that this game will be cool .. but what we really want is a boxing game like MADDEN, PERIOD.wehat do i mean by this… real fighters, updates for new fighters and stats and venues, camera angels, in depth records of wins losses vs users and stats for overall records and by fighter and divisions. more more more like the level of involvement of MADDEN… i want to be able to pick stances style and dominant punches, not like it is in FN3, the judge jab and sinister cross are too imposing compared to the other punch styles… more realism… why cant i throw a straight right with haymaker power????
To make a game that less realistic as a substitute is weak. not wack, but weak, effortless, and un-realizing of the shortcomings from the earlier releases. give me more of what i want .. yeah i want to get int the ring and kick butt, but its not the same its like playing MADDEN with the NFL TEAMS… would you do that?
I agree changes with Fight Night would be great if they could pull it off. You need to remeber this is an arcade title and while unrealistic it will appeal and sales figures are what matters. I hope one day they create all sports games with more relistic look and feel but I am interested to check this out for what it is when it hits.
