Xbox Live may have had problems in December but according to the new NPD update it seems the Xbox 360 console was red hot. In December alone the Xbox 360 sold more than 1.3 million units impressive for a single month. This information also means that the Xbox 360 out-sold the PS3 as their totals where 798,000 units but the Wii outsold everyone with 1,350,000 units. Interesting as far as the top selling games for the Xbox 360 Call of Duty 4 placed first with 1.47 copies sold. It was also a great month for Assassins Creed, Guitar Hero III and RockBand all out selling the PS3 versions by a 2:1 ratio.
