THQ announced plans to acquire Big Huge Games, a leading development studio. Big Huge Games was founded in 2000 and was responsible for several classic hits in the past. The main focus of the studio is creating RPG games. THQ stated that if everything goes as planned the goal is to have Big Head work on upcoming releases already announced as well as new titles. There are still certain terms that must be met for the deal to go through but it looks like the deal should go through creating a great creative unit for THQ. It was also stated that many of the titles are planned for the Xbox 360.
