Jason knows I've never been a NFS fan, but I've really tried to get into the last to games. I can't though, they just don't do it for me, and they've gotten worse.

ok. I have much to say here, but I'm on Safari on the itouch. So let me keep it short. I agree almost completely with the rest of the commentors. And after reading the full interview I still don't see why they took out the cops and the free roam element. Not sure if I'll get a NFS game in 2008!

Truly, a saddened gamer.

EA made a big mistake here. I'm all for the race day theme and all that but not allowing blueprints, at least the visual part to carry over from mode to mode just makes me want to stop playing. Why do I have to recreate a paint job that I spent over an hour on just cause I want to be able to take my car from drift to drag. It makes no sense. In real life, which is what EA is going for here obviously, people change the car parts and setup for this, they don't take the car in, repaint it, strip it of all the parts, rims, bodykits, etc. and start all over. BAD MISTAKE. Period. Now I think it's a nice idea to bring the races onto tracks, that is, to cover up the first and BIGGEST mistake by taking the police out. But they wouldn't have to do so if they didn't mess with taking the best part of NFS away in the first place. Carbon was okay but missed the police and drag races which made it a game that I beat and then traded in. Most Wanted however stays with me and gets plenty of playing time. ProStreet might stick around long enough for me to beat it but once that happens, goodbye. I'm just disappointed. They say they wanted to gear towards hardcore racers but I am just that and I want to do the very thing I can't do out on the road... test myself against the law. Oh and the fact the EA got rid of the actual actors for the cut scenes and went with gameplay graphics turns me off even more. Graphics are nice and all but they should never leave the rest of the game in shame. Video games are more than just great visuals. The NFS games seem to be getting worse to me. And with games like Assassin's Creed, Halo 3, skate. (now this is a game EA), and Mass Effect which is coming up, it doesn't look too good for ProStreet in my collection and I'm 100% positive I'm not only speaking for myself. EA, give gamers what they want, please. And hopefully others will speak up and EA might actually read our posts and decide that they need to do what we, the gamers, want.

And until then I'll play ProStreet here and there until I can't stand it anymore, then it's back to the regular play of Most Wanted.

Peace.

So the development team was asked to turn the franchise into multiple titles? Is that what he said about taking the cops out? I don't think I fully understand that, can we get another interview to clear this up? Are they working with the Burnout team? Cause when i saw the 'black car chase mode' in Burnout I instantly thought of Most Wanted.
