XBS Podcast – Interview With Jesper Kyd
Jim, Jason and I had the chance to interview Jesper Kyd one of the hottest composers around the video game industry today. The timing could not be more perfect with both Assassin’s Creed and Kane & Lynch: Dead Men hitting stores this week. Jesper worked on both games and his talents show since the two games feature totally different music styles. Jesper shares about growing up in Denmark and his love for music. It’s interesting to hear how his Amiga played a huge role in his music background as well.
Jesper also scores feature films and talks about how he approaches each project differently. He also shared with us how the Hitman series boosted his career and helped pave the road he is now on. As you listen to the podcast you will hear his love for music and his love for the video game industry. We want to thank him for his time and also thank Greg O’Connor-Read for arranging the interview. You will also hear some of his work during the podcast. You can visit Jesper’s MySpace page and his official site to learn and hear more from this talented composer.
