Xbox Live Plans for their 5th Year Anniversary Revealed
You may have heard rumors of free Microsoft points and a new update on the way for the Xbox 360. Today all the rumors are put to rest as Microsoft announces their plans for the 5th Year anniversary of Xbox Live. The first big news item to announce is the plans of releasing a new feature allowing certain Xbox titles to be downloaded right from the marketplace starting in early December. Right now the price for each title will be 1200 Microsoft points or $15.00 each.
We all know the real anniversary date is the 15th of November so starting at 12:01 EST and running for 48 hours everyone will have the chance to download the arcade title Carcassonne free of charge. We also heard about free points for members who joined during the first year. As long as you have your account information updated and a current Xbox Live gold account you will also receive 500 Microsoft points free as a thank you from Microsoft. Parents can also look for more parental control and features when the next update hits in December. Wow has it really been 5 years all ready?
