Microsoft.News from Microsoft today, one of the hottest titles for this holiday season Mass Effect has officially gone gold. It was also announced that there will be a collector’s edition of the game for sale along with a special bonus DVD for those who Pre-Order the game. The collector set has some nice items including a book, bonus guide and special DVD with a ton of extra content. For those who Pre-Order the game at one of the participating retailers the extra DVD will include demos, gamer pics and themes and a short documentary.
