Sierra and Double Fine Productions sent over some new information on the game Brutal Legend today. The new game from Tim Schafer the creator of Psychonauts is ready to take gamers on an epic journey in a strange new world. While the details are still scarce the story seems to revolve around a Roadie who gets his hands on an ancient artifact and is transported to a strange new world. The once Roadie who dreamed of fame and groupies must now slay the beasts and be the hero. Armed with the knowledge of Heavy Metal music and power chords the epic story begins to protect Heavy Metal Music for all. Tim Schafer seems to be onto something big here. I have seen the early trailers and have heard about the main voices and they are big stars but since the press release does not name any I will have to hold off to see if changes where made. Slated for the Xbox 360 in 2008 Brutal Legend looks great so far and should be a hell of an adventure. Stay tune for more news the list of stars and the bands adding to the games music.
