XBS Podcast 9 - Halo 3!In this episode Jason Rybka, Jim Kennedy, Rich Reed, Christina Mariannino, and Andres C. talk about Halo 3 - and Halo 3 - and then we really try and talk about other gaming topics. Join us as we discuss the launch of Halo 3 and the midnight events and new Halo 3 products.   • Halo 3 the wait is almost over but not soon enough for Jim.
  • Halo 3, accessories, consoles and the H3 themed controllers “Rich thinks they are ugly” but listen and see what Jim thinks.
  • Halo 3 Prima Guide worth getting we are going to try and snag some to give away.
  • We wrap this segment up and move on although we do talk about the ad blitz new board games and of course the game and the legendary set.
  • Jason asks WTF is up with the lack of news and announcements from this year TGS? After all there had to be more than Lost Odyssey to talk about right? Jason also brings up Blue Dragon a big title from last year’s show and wants to play it.
  • Jason puts Rich on the spot and asks so what is the best Hockey game to get this year.
  • Dallas Cowboys are 2-0 Giants are 0-2 as well as the Eagles and Alpha could care less.
  • XBL Arcade Geon is cool so say’s Jason and Alpha asks where the hell is BSG.
  • Everyone loves to play with their Wii and so do we. Being able to use the Wii remote as a light Sabre? Sounds cool as hell bring it on. As we talk about The Force Unleashed.
  • Xbox 360 force feedback wheel troubles and possible recall on the way somehow we then debate which type of wheel is better. The kind you mount to a desk or the ones that fit on your lap?
  • The gang breaks our promise and goes back to Halo 3 and talks about the changes at Bungie.net
  • Rumored new HD-Player in 08 shot down in flames firmware is better so sayeth MS.
  • PS3 topics touched on but nothing deep although we do warn of possible problems with the midnight release as the group SDF vows to ruin the ending. We all wonder what a PS3 starter Bundle is and rumble controllers so old generation that Sony is bringing them into the next-Gen.
  • Collin McRae’s Dirt TV ads pulled R.I.P. Sadly Collin and his son died last weekend he will be missed.
  • The Biggest games this Holiday Season and why we all will be broke after it’s over.
  • Manhunt updates its website and has the new mature rating logo.
  • A few other things including COD4 Beta and the new level cap as we all wait for Halo 3 we still want COD 4 as well. Listen you’ll understand we think.
  • Jim is still cigarette free 2 weeks and counting. Yea but is he still sucking on sunflower seeds?
