Xbox360.What do you do when you have another game that is going to compete with you? Well, if you’re Activision you use another game fans are eager to play and offer it two weeks earlier than the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Seems Activision wants people to get a chance to play Guitar Hero III early this year and will place it on the Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground game disc. THPG hits stores on October 9th and fans are already talking about the war for bragging rights between this and EA’s Skate. I think the new Tony Hawk game is going to offer some cool things for fans of the series. I am not so sure how fans will respond to the demo for GH III though. The demo will feature Lay Down by Priestess, Even Flow by Pearl Jam, The Metal by Tenacious D and songs made famous by Pat Benatar and Scorpions. Some may look at this as a smart move on the part of Activision others may disagree personally I could wait the extra two weeks and download it but that is my thoughts.
