Micro Center today announced that it will extend savings of $100 on in-store purchases of any Microsoft XBOX 360 system throughout the Holidays. After the $100 mail-in rebate the XBOX 360 Premium is $299.99 and XBOX 360 Core System is $199.99.

“Micro Center is committed to offering the best selection and value for our customers,” said Kevin Jones, VP – Merchandising. “In view of shortages of PS3 and Wii models and the advantages of Microsoft’s Media Center Extender, we recognized that XBOX 360 models are clearly the premier game console gifts this season.”

“With the attention the PS3 and Wii launches have produced and the shortages on both products, we believe that a $100 rebate on XBOX 360 is a great way to encourage a wider group of customers to discover our new, larger gaming departments and provide Micro Center customers a premium gaming solution for the Holidays,” added Jones.
