Teenage Champion Snowboarders Battle it Out on Xbox Live Arcade

XboxLive.Brother and sister duo Spencer and Brooke Shaw, who are USASA (United States of America Snowboard Association) champions at the young ages of 13 and 15 respectively, will desert the slopes, and swap ski caps for headsets as part of the latest Xbox Live Game with Fame session – the first ever featuring a Xbox Live Arcade title. Xbox Live Gold members interested in testing their skills in Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting on Xbox 360 should be on the lookout for the Xbox Live gamertag ShawGWF on Tuesday, November 7 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST.

“We grew up in Connecticut,” explained Brooke, “and now we are on the road so often. Sometimes it’s hard to keep in touch with friends from back home, but Xbox Live is a great way to have some fun with our friends when we can’t be in the same room as them!”

“It’s so cool that we get to play against kids from all over the world!” Spencer added. “And Street Fighter II’ is one of my favorite games, so they better be ready!”

The Xbox Live Game with Fame program gives Xbox Live members the unique opportunity to meet, chat and play against some of today’s hottest stars. Past Game with Fame celebrity players include Jack Black, Jenny McCarthy, INXS, New York Yankees’ Jason Giambi, Ryan Cabrera and Ludacris. For further information on other Xbox Live events, be sure to visit the Game with Fame Web site at http://www.xbox.com/gamewithfame.

As a true tribute to this critically acclaimed arcade fighting game, ‘Street Fighter II’ Hyper Fighting’ delivers the game in original form but also includes all new content specifically designed for Xbox Live Arcade. High definition video resolution, Achievements, Leaderboards, and online multiplayer combat over Xbox Live including the all new innovative “Quarter Match” takes this classic franchise phenom to next generation levels.
