FIFA 07 Xbox 360 Community Day Wrap-up

FIFA 07 Community Day Wrap-upLast week XBS was invited to Vancouver BC to attend the FIFA Community Event at EAC. In case you’re not used to the lingo, EAC is simply Electronic Arts Canada and it’s the largest studio EA has. Heading off I saw they had a full schedule for us at the event. I arrived at the Sutton Place Hotel, a 5 Star Hotel that is way out of my league. I soon met up with a few others including Daylon, from http://www.unscripted360.com/, and Kyle, from http://www.gamefreaks365.com/. I also met DJ from http://www.gamingtruth.com/. We got there a bit early on Thursday and had a few hours to kill so soon we were playing Mario Kart to pass the time. Later that night we had a great dinner at Earl’s where the main action was the Mets game. We hung around talked and got to meet Rob and Clive from EA as well as a few of the other team members of the game. It was a nice group and we all got along great joking, laughing and talking about our personal favorite games. We also talked about the worst game ever made for a console, which I have to admit was not as easy but still fun. Since the flight was very long, the first night was over pretty early and we headed back to the hotel since we had a full day ahead of us.

NHL 07 Xbox 360 Hockey Review

NHL07.jpgLast year when the Xbox 360 launched, fans of EA’s NHL series were left out for the season. Perhaps it was due to the fact EA had spent too much time trying to get their flagship titles out for the new system. Possibly the problem was that the deal EA had worked out with the players was rejected by the Commissioner of the NHL. The rumors were there, but the details were not. Rather than speculate, fans were left with one choice for their hockey fix on the Xbox 360. For the last few years there has been a debate — which hockey title really is the best game in town, EA or 2K? Like any debate, each fan has his or her own thoughts. EA has had a full year in training camp, so to speak, to bring out their new improved version of the franchise for the Xbox 360. The real question is did they manage to bring their A game or is the franchise still loaded with minor league problems? Read the full review of NHL 07 and find out.

NHL 2K7 Xbox 360 Hockey Review

NHL2K7.jpgLast year when the Xbox 360 launched Hockey, fans got the short end of the stick. 2K Sports decided to port over their 2K6 with a few polishes but it was nowhere up to par of a real Xbox 360 game could be. It was decent but with only 5 achievements, it just seemed rushed. Even with decent reviews the flaws were pointed out. This year 2K Sports has brought out the deepest NHL game to date. Read the full NHL 2K7 review to see why this is simply the game for the die-hard Hockey fans.

Bomberman: Act Zero Xbox 360 Review

Bomberman Act Zero ReviewYou know its funny people think reviewers have it made. They play a game and then write about it. I get a lot of people saying “Man you are so lucky, let me write a review and have it posted”. To all of those people and the ones reading this review, I wish I could allow you to write this one.
