Xbox360.Activision, Inc. and Infinity Ward today announced that Call of Duty 2, the No. 1 top-selling title to date for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft won the “Best Shooter” category at G-PHORIA 2006 presented by G4’s “X-PLAY.”

G4 is planning several re-broadcasts of the show:

  • Friday, August 11, 2PM Eastern/Pacific
  • Saturday, August 12, 2AM Eastern/Pacific
  • Sunday, August 13, 5PM Eastern/Pacific
  • Monday, August 14, 11AM, Eastern/Pacific
  • Monday, August 14, 6PM, Eastern/Pacific
  • Friday, August 18, 5PM, Eastern/Pacific

Call of Duty 2 was recently reported as the top Xbox 360 game on the Xbox Live online entertainment network (according to http://www.majornelson.com/). Call of Duty 2 is rated “T” (TEEN – blood, mild language and violence) by the ESRB and is available nationwide.
