Spike TV Video Game Awards 2005 Charlize Theron, 50 Cent & More to Appear
Academy-Award® winner Charlize Theron, 50 Cent, Kiefer Sutherland and 80’s icon rock band Def Leppard will join host Samuel L. Jackson at the Spike TV “Video Game Awards 2005.†They join a growing roster of celebs scheduled to appear at the awards including The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Missy Elliott, The Rock, Vin Diesel, Tony Hawk, Michael Chiklis and many more. The third annual awards The Spike TV “Video Game Awards 2005†take place on Friday, November 18 at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles with the two-hour extravaganza premiering on Spike TV Saturday, December 10 (9:00 – 11:00 PM, ET/PT).
Theron is nominated for two VGA awards in the categories of Best Performance by a Human – Female and Cyber Vixen of the Year for her role as Aeon Flux in the video game of the same name, published by Majesco Entertainment. Multi-platinum hip hop artist, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is set to present at the third annual awards.   The star of the recently released film ”Get Rich or Die Tryin’” will also be the main character in the highly anticipated “50 Cent: Bulletproof” video game, published by Vivendi Universal Games. The action game is nominated in six categories for seven awards, including Best Action Game, Best Performance By a Human (Male)  and Best Original Song .
