In an open letter announcement today the Jack Thompson legal team issued a statement of legal intent revealing that lawyer Jack Thompson will marry singer Madonna on the exhibit floor at the 2006 International CES in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 5th, 2006. The announcement, which was delivered via certified mail says the decision to take their vows at CES 06 was made, in part, based on Madonna’s feeling that the world we live in is a “Beast,” and Jack Thompson’s ongoing slander against the video game industry and community.

Madonna is well known throughout the world for her many chart topping albums dating back to 1982. Madonna is also highly regarded in the music industry for her videos, publicity, and open sexuality. Her first Top 40 hit came in 1983 in the form of her popular single “Holiday.” “Borderline” soon followed in 1984 as a Top 10 hit and began an amazing sequence of 17 Top 10 hits for the singer. In December of 1984 “Like a Virgin” made history by climbing the charts all the way to number one. More recently Madonna has been in the news for saying that “all priests are gay,” and that people “are going to go to hell, if they don’t turn from their wicked behavior.”

Jack Thompson, aside from his off the wall comments, threats, and slander towards the gaming community, is unknown.

The ceremony, which will begin with a brief trailer of the Grand Theft Auto “Hot Coffee Mod” in action, will mark the beginning of an expected long lasting bond between the two individuals. Xbox Solution wishes both of them happiness in their newfound love, in fact, we’re playing GTA listening to “Like a Virgin” right now as we think ahead to the honeymoon! We have yet to confirm this announcement.
