Punisher

If you like over the top violence, or if you’re just not quite right
in the head you will enjoy The Punisher. With the two principal gore settings
being either “Off” or “Extreme”, that should clue you
in as to how violent the game is. And find a nice, cozy spot on the National
Institute on Media and the Family’s list as one of, if not the most violent
video game to date (eat your heart out Doom 3). Just in case you are wondering,
no, the game does not follow the movie of the same name that was released last
year, and instead follows its own storyline that adheres more to the gritty
comic series by including cameos of some of the heroes and villains within that
comic universe. With a storyline penned by Garth Ennis it is a game as authentic

Nintendo Announces Four Major Games For May

E3 won’t be the only major video game event in May. Nintendo has four highly anticipated games launching in May featuring a powerhouse franchise, hot new rhythms, out-of-body experiences and sacred stones.

May 1: Pokémon Emerald for Game Boy Advance SP offers a new, more challenging Battle Frontier where players will face a fierce new lineup of competitors that is certain to test the skills of even the best Pokémon Trainers. The game features compatibility with five previous Pokémon titles, and up to four players can battle wirelessly.

Final Fantasy creator joins Microsoft

Father of “Final Fantasy” Series and AIAS Hall of Fame Inductee Will Develop Role-Playing Games

Microsoft Corp. today announced that Hironobu Sakaguchi, video game legend and president of Mistwalker game studio, has joined with Microsoft Game Studios to develop role-playing game (RPG) video games exclusively for the next-generation Xbox video game platform. Sakaguchi is best known as the creator of the Final Fantasy franchise, which has sold more than 60 million units worldwide, and was executive vice president in charge of game development at Square Enix Co., Ltd. until February 2001.

Dirty Harry to hit Next Gen Consoles

This round of free content consists of two maps that were originally featured in the Limited Edition; each playable via System Link, split-screen and Xbox Live.
