Mad Catz Kicks Off New Licensed NFL Controllers
Mad Catz Interactive, Inc., the world’s leading third party video game accessory
provider, announced that it has signed a multi-year license agreement with the
NFL to produce customized NFL team controllers for the video game industry.
Mad Catz will produce a unique, high-quality video game controller for each
of the 32 NFL football teams – stylized with the team’s colors and logos. They
also feature rubber grips, a poly-carbonate finish, analog joysticks, and an
action d-pad. The new NFL controllers for PlayStation(R)2 are scheduled to release
January 2005 through online and team stores at a suggested retail price of $29.99.
NFL licensed controllers for the Xbox gaming system are scheduled to hit the
market in the second quarter 2005.
