THQ Ships ”The Incredibles” Videogame
THQ(R) Inc, Pixar Animation Studios and Disney Interactive today announced the
release of “The Incredibles” videogame based on the upcoming Walt Disney
Pictures presentation of a Pixar Animation Studios film, “The Incredibles.”
“The Incredibles” has shipped for the PlayStation(R)2 Sony computer
entertainment system, the Xbox(R) videogame system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube(R),
Game Boy(R) Advance, and PC/Mac. “The Incredibles: When Danger Calls,”
an additional PC/Mac title targeting the younger demographic featuring an assortment
of mini-games has also shipped. “The Incredibles” is now beginning to
ship to retail outlets worldwide.

“The Incredibles” videogame features intense superhero action and
adventure combined with the unique graphical style and humor of the upcoming
Pixar film presented by Disney. The game will allow players to relive the movie
experience as each of the film’s characters in visually stunning environments
ranging from lush jungle islands to grand skyscraper-filled cities. The game
spans more than 18 levels including bonuses and extra hidden features.
“The Incredibles: When Danger Calls” for PC/Mac allows younger gamers
10 levels of engaging activities based on the film’s characters, settings, and
events. The game features a variety of difficulty levels for kids of all ages
to enjoy.
Heavy Iron Studios, developer of the console versions of “The Incredibles,”
and Helixe, developer of the Game Boy Advance version, are both internal studios
of THQ. Beenox adapted the console version to PC/Mac. Imaginengine developed
“The Incredibles: When Danger Calls.”
