Hell Has Frozen Over, Halo 2 is Gold!
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the long wait is almost over. Microsoft Game Studios has officially announced that the most anticipated Xbox game of all time, Halo 2, has gone gold and has been shipped off to disc manufacturing.
In a short 28 days, yes, it will finally be in your grubby little hands. Breakups and divorce rates will skyrocket, and parents will never get their kids to do there homework again. The biggest sick day in history may occur. After 3 years in development, Earth is on a collision course with the evil alien empire known as the Covenant.
Expanding on the universe originally created in Halo, Halo 2 brings the fight against the Covenant home to Earth, with new vehicles, weapons, and enemies to stick a plasma grenade on to. With the added addition of online multiplayer over Xbox Live!, the legion of Halo fans around the world can finally stop using tunnel programs to play against their best friends, and hated enemies, over the internet.
Possibly the last Halo 2 weekly update is now available in video format over at the Bungie website. Coming in at nearly 16 minutes, it gives a behind the scenes look at the workplace and what’s left of the staff that hasn’t been offended by the sushi farts from the wrap party. So head on over to take a look, officially available at Bungies official website.
