THQ and Nickelodeon Announce the Release of Blue’s Room: Blue Talks!
THQ Inc. and Nickelodeon today announced the release of Blue’s Room: Blue Talks! for the PC. Published by ValuSoft, a division of THQ Inc. and leading global publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software, Blue’s Room: Blue Talks! is rated “EC” for Early Childhood and will be available at retailers throughout North America for $19.99.
“Blue’s Room is an inviting place where kids can develop a sense of self and find their own voice–just as Blue has found hers,” states Doug Clemmer, President of ValuSoft. “Now in Blue’s Room: Blue Talks!, kids can talk, play and pretend with Blue and her friends in a whole new way.”
In Blue’s Room: Blue Talks!, kids will have a way great play date with Blue. Through six interactive games they can dance along with Roar E. Saurus and Boogie Woogie, discover new words at Frederica’s Birthday Party, play puzzles with Polka Dots, hear knock-knock jokes from Silly Seat and act out stories with Dress Up Chest. Best of all, kids can play with their best friend, Blue!
Blue’s Room: Blue Talks! also features exclusive printable Blue’s Room activities and games. Handy Dandy Journal helps kids and their parents print their own coloring book pages, Doodleboard and Dictionary game for play away from the computer.

Blue’s Room is a series of literacy-based specials spun off from the ground-breaking preschool series Blue’s Clues. In Blue’s Room, a door is unlocked to a whole new world where the beloved, animated puppy is transformed into a loveable puppet who can talk to the preschoolers at home. Every Blue’s Room special is the ultimate play date, as preschoolers talk, play, pretend and imagine with Blue and her playroom friends. The series is created and executive produced by Traci Paige Johnson (Blue’s Clues) and Angela Santomero (Blue’s Clues).
In support of Blue’s Room, Nickelodeon has a $1 million marketing campaign including television and print Nick Stuff spots, and an on-air sweepstakes marketing campaign culminating in August. An on-pack “Blue’s Room Dream Room” sweepstakes, promoted on over 2 million Blue’s Room licensed products, will give one lucky winner a brand new Blue’s Room themed bedroom and features other Blue’s Room prizes including the Blue’s Room: Blue Talks! PC game.
