Rumors of vaporware continue to enshroud the Phantom,
in part because the console’s CES debut was nothing more than a
non-operating mock-up. However, Infinium Labs is showing that it is serious
about games and appointed former Xbox executive Kevin Bachus as president
and chief operating officer. Bachus joins the company following the fall
of his own company, Capital Entertainment Group, which he formed with
Seamus Blackley, another former Xbox officer.

As posted by our own zer0-fault here;
Ed Fries, another Microsoft executive that helped bringing Xbox to life, has
also recently resigned from his position. This only makes us think what effects
will this bring onto the future development of Xbox and its sucessor (which
for now we’ll call XboxNext).

Although we could not find any official information about
Blackley’s move, this would bring Infinum Labs and their Phantom to a more serious
level after their mock-up console at CES. Stay tuned for more information…
