Who ever said video game players can’t be sexy? Gamer.tv, the online destination
dedicated to the thriving world and lifestyle of video games and online games,
has proven the skeptics wrong and announced the U.S. Grand Final for its Search
For the Sexiest Gamer contest. The Grand Final will take place on Friday, December
12 at the famed Universal CityWalk, adjacent to Universal Studios Hollywood.

“The myth has been proven false – today’s video gamers
are not geeks at all. They are one attractive bunch!” stated Chris
Bergstresser, CEO of Gamer.tv. “We have received thousands of entries
to our contest, and now the 10 U.S. finalists will get to strut their stuff
on stage at Universal Citywalk to prove they truly are the sexiest gamers in
America.”

Spectators are invited to gather from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Universal
CityWalk Cinema Plaza stage, conveniently located near the Universal Studios
Cinemas and Hard Rock Café. The Finalists will compete in three intense
rounds of competition to showcase their video game knowledge, personalities
and sex appeal. At the end of the competition, one male and one female winner
will each win a trip to London, UK. . .

TechTV, the cable network showcasing the smart, edgy and unexpected side of
technology, will serve as the broadcast partner for the Sexiest Gamer finalist
competition. Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb, hosts of the network’s popular
“X-Play” and well-respected members of the video game community,
will serve as emcees for the event. Joining Sessler and Webb on stage will be
the Sexiest Gamer celebrity judges panel. Renowned game developer/industry expert
Stevie Case and Wind-Up modern rock recording artist Strata, along with audience
participation, will help decide which male and female are the sexiest gamers
in the U.S.

The Search For the Sexiest Gamer competition has spanned a two-month campaign,
with contestants submitting their photos and favorite video games for online
judging at www.sexiestgamer.com. A Search
For the Sexiest Gamer contest is being held simultaneously in London, with the
winners receiving a trip to Hollywood.
