SEGA’s hit action-RPG is finally coming to an Xbox near – Numerous retailers are
reporting that Phantasy Star Online will be shipping for Xbox
on February 25, 2003. While the specifics of the pricing scheme are still unknown,
there will more than likely be a small monthly fee to pay along with the price
of the game, as well as your yearly Xbox Live subscription. Also, although the
game does include voice chat with the Communicator, the Japanese version of the
game will also be shipping with a USB adapter for use with a keyboard. Whether
this adapter will come packaged with the US version of the game is also unknown,
but it seems like a likely bet. More as it develops.
