2003 will see a new videogame exposition launch, one specifically created for consumes and gamers to attend.

The Ultimate Gamers Expo will debut in Los Angeles, California on August 15 – 17, 2003 and will take place in the South Hall of the LA Convention Center.

Founders Wayne Pepper and Joe Hubbard are projecting attendance of over 100,000 people. Pepper added, “We realized that fans are not able to access traditional gaming expos and we wanted to respond with an event geared specifically for them. We are allowing fans to sample all the latest technology and games in an arena where they can give feedback directly to publishers.”

The event will feature a series of gaming tournaments, and will encourage game developers and publishers to make use of the consumer audience by conducting market research and offering play testing of products.

Admission to the event will be $20 per person ($10 for anyone under 18 years of age).

Dobson and Associates is managing the Ultimate Gamers Expo, while Freeman Co. will serve as its service contractor. Endeavor will handle representaion.
